Michael Gallagher the ninth child of Edward & Mary, was born 18 Sep 1919, in Tavnaglass.
He moved to England in 1937, where he met Margaret Brennan of Develeash in London.
They were married on 2 Oct 1943 at the Brompton Oratory Church in London, by Michael’s Uncle Fr Patrick Gallagher.
In 1948, Michael emigrated to the United States, with Margaret following soon thereafter.
Together they had four children:
- John Edward (Ted), born 29 Jul 1945 in London, married Monica Sherwood, 7 Apr 1973.
- Michael Joseph, born 28 Mar 1952 in Philadelphia, married Suzanne Maiura, 3 Jun 1978.
- Maureen Margaret, born 25 Jan 1956 in Philadelphia, married Joseph Burke, 7 May 1988.
- Margaret Mary, born 29 Aug 1958 in Philadelphia, married John J. McCorriston, 1 Jul 1989.
