Bridget Gallagher, the third child of Edward & Mary was born 24 Oct 1900 with her twin sister Nora in Tavnaglass. She emigrated to the United States in 1921 along with her twin sister, later returning to Ireland, where in 1928, she married Mike Groarke they lived in Ballinvoher, Meelick, Swinford, Co. Mayo.
The Groarkes had six children:
- Kathleen, born 18 Nov 1928 at Bolinvoher, Swinford, married Michael McNamara.
- Mary, born 23 Feb 1930, at Bolinvoher, married Michael Doherty.
- Eileen, born 1 Oct 1933, at Bolinvoher, married John Durkan.
- Nano, born 16 Dec 1936, at Bolinvoher, married John Dunne, died 26 Apr 1987.
- Philomena, born 31 May 1939, at Bolinvoher, married Michael McNeela, 30 Mar 1964.
- Edward, born 22 Dec 1940, at Bolinvoher, married Kathleen Foley.
